Calauit Safari Park

Whatever the real intentions are, one thing that remains the same is that the animals are already here. We brought them here. We adopted them. “All the animals here are Filipinos now,” Kuya Florante shared, explaining that the original individuals imported from Africa are all dead, leaving behind the offsprings, which are all born in Calauit. The least we could do is take care of them.

Overview in Bukidnon

Inside the park, you’ll find several statues/sculptures of indigenous people positioned in different corners. They’re artworks by known Mindanao artist, Kublai Millan, who I found out was also the creator of the sculptures found in Davao People’s Park. The sculptures exhibit the early inhabitants of Bukidnon, most of them playing different tribal instruments. One sculpture is of a woman playing kubing, a Philippine jaw harp made of bamboo which is placed in the mouth and blowing wind through in order to produce a sound.

Caffe Dolce in Banawe

Share

Caffe Dolce
Hidden in the heart of Banawe is this Taiwanese franchise that’s quietly been collecting a loyal following in the last few years. The place is located on the second floor of an office building (very inconspicuous against the landscape of bright Chinese-restaurant signage in this neighborhood): It’s a cross between a flower shop and a cafe, just a few footsteps away from becoming Cupid’s Den. But while the teddy bears and flowers take a bit of getting used to, this cafe is popular for its many permutations of tea and coffee, as well as the cool presentation of such creations. Despite its inclination to inspire affections, it comes as a surprise to learn that students more than lovers frequent this romantic place.

KAKANIN Special
(Only in the Philippines)

Pinoy kakanin is something we all grew up with—whether it was fluffy puto or deliciously chewy cassava cake—they were always flavorful and fun to eat. While most kakanin recipes are steamed or cooked very slowly over the stove, those that are baked in the oven can create some of the most interesting textures out there.
There are many kinds of Kakanin; Cassava Cake, Puto, Bibingka, Sapin-sapin, Leche Puto and many more.
While travelling to the beautiful places in the Philippines, taste also the KAKANIN foods. It is so delicious so what are you waiting for?

First Date at Casa Manila

Great for a first date, or a fun date in the early stages of your relationship?

Step back in time and go back to colonial Manila at the Casa Manila.

Nestled in the Plaza San Luis Complex in the Intramuros, this sightseeing secret is a replica of an 1850’s building that has been restored and shows how the wealthy Spanish used to live. The mansion features a wide-sweeping staircase, ivory statues of the saints and now hard-to-find hardwood floors and beams all polished and gleaming.

Casa Manila is open from Tuesdays to Sundays. Plan your visit with a meal at Ristorante delle Mitre, which is about two minutes away – their food is a mix of Filipino, Italian and Spanish and the dishes are named after archbishops! It’s a good place to refuel after a busy day sightseeing.

SEVEN SEAS in Cagayan

Seven Seas Waterpark is the newest waterpark located in Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental. It was recently opened last October 2017.  The first ever waterpark opened in the Northern Mindanao. The pirate-themed park has more than 20 different slides and rides available for its guests.

Cyclone is one of their slides which has a cone-shaped slide that is positioned horizontally is 6 storeys high which then leads you directly to a pool. They also have the slide which is the longest river ride in the entire country, measures 500 meters long called the Mighty Maui River. One of the most loved attractions in the waterpark is the Plank Drop Slide.

The first ever aqua water loop slide in the Philippines; this slide is not for the faint-hearted. The Plank Drop Slide takes one person at a time. The Pira-Chute is also one of the long slides the waterpark has. It is an open slide that has at least two rotation spins.

There many things you can do at the Seven Seas Waterpark that can surely enjoy your visit and make it worth it. A perfect gateway with family, friends, and workmates.

Recommended to be your next favorite summer, fun and adventurous destination.

Japanese Tunnel

Welcome to the Japanese Tunnel in Davao City.

Davao City, Philippines - Aside from visiting the Japanese Tunnel (circa 1942), there are other activities worth partaking at D' Japanese Tunnel Family Resort and Restaurant. After all, this was really designed as a resort with 41 rooms perched on a hill beside a highway; a restaurant with rates and entries that adjust to your budget; and a swimming pool. The place is located a bit far from the city center, and commuter jeeps are almost nil, but the security guard can always hail a taxi at any time. If I was a backpacker with a myriad of activities and a gamut of places to visit, I probably wouldn't stay here. But if I had a family in need of bonding - or that romantic couple who doesn't have to wander, this would be an ideal place.

Reflection

ICT is changing people lives everywhere. This goes from the home to the office.  It is these I will be discussing. The first is individuals. ICT has a big impact on people in their everyday lives and is affecting people in different ways. Technology is all around us but most people do not realize. It is allowing people to find whatever information they want whenever they need it. We can also talk to people all over the world for free through instant messenger programs and Email. With that, without the ICT the people power revolution may never happen, and the technologies never evolve. The ICT is really important in creating social change since it stands as a tool so that a person could easily share its own idea for change.

Today, there are many various social media sites that can change ones life. Example for that is the platform where anyone can know each other. People will sign up to that page and everyone will put their petition and tell and explain how social media change each lives.

I would like to propose a petition on free internet service because we all know that internet is the most requirement for being a student. We are living in the 21st century so it is one of the most important in every person, especially for the students and teachers.
This is the problem for the present people because some of the student don't have internet or computer stuffs. So, if I were given a chance this would like I propose to.

The Unfinished Mystery of Fantasy World in Batangas

The darkening crevices and peeling paint are showing signs of age, but the Bavarian-inspired castle on a hill a few hours away from Metro Manila is suprisingly holding up well, a colorful symbol of possibility and, still, hope that one day the roller coasters would start running and the fortress would buzz with activity and there'd be throngs of people waiting to get in.

But for a place that’s supposedly “abandoned," Fantasy World over at Lemery, Batangas, is becoming quite a destination on its own. Visited by daredevil adventurers since the early 2010s and receiving renewed attention thanks to social media in the last couple of years, the “Philippine Disneyland”—or what could've beenmanages to stay relevant despite never fulfilling its promise as a world class resort.
